The terrible news broke just minutes ago that Richard Swift has succumbed to the previously reported life threatening condition from which he has been suffering. He was 41 years of age. The world has lost a uniquely gifted singer, songwriter and producer.

Indeed it is CC. If you have anything by The Shins, The Black Keys, Kevin Morby, Tahiti 80, Tennis, Foxygen or Damien Jurado in your collection, there's a good chance that it'll have Richard's fingerprints all over it.
Very sad. I listened to The Novelist again the other night following your previous post. Some great songs on there.
