Following on from my recent nod to English chanteuse Holly Macve, here's Julia Jacklin, another new name to keep an ear out for. Julia hails from the Blue Mountains region of Australia and, like Holly, has a debut LP set for imminent release. Check out this desperately beautiful acoustic version of the album's title track, 'Don't Let The Kids Win', along with her recently issued debut single 'Pool Party'.

Julia Jacklin, not bad at all, but I've clicked on your recommendation on the right, 75 Dollar Bill, and it's bloody brilliant.
I thought you might like Julia George, but I'm particularly chuffed that you enjoyed 78 Dollar Bill. It's the sort of thing I play when I'm working - I get totally lost in it.
Ooh, I like. Prefer Don't Let The Kids Win, I was distracted by the dancing-like-she's-in-a-David-Lynch movie on the other track.
Keep 'em coming Swede - you are on a roll
Intertested this was not bad, need re listen
