If this first release is any indication of what's to come, Speedy Wunderground is a label to keep an eye on. 'I Go Out', an utterly inspired collaboration between Steve Mason, Emiliana Torrini and Toy, is nothing short of epic in it's duration and ambition - and all put together in one day. A seven minute sonic assault, as one review accurately described it.

Glad you like the tune and found the info useful C. I'm a big fan of both Toy (whose work this tune most resembles) and Steve Mason, but know nothing about Emiliana Torrini, other than her involvement on early Gus Gus recordings in the mid 90's. I think I need to do a bit of digging.
Ha ha, I am the complete opposite! - know nothing about Toy or Steve Mason but like a lot of Emiliana's solo output as well as some other collaborations. Just if you're interested, solo-wise I'd recommend her 'Love In The Time Of Science' album (on One Little Indian!)

Good sound. I know next to nothing about any of the people involved but they make an interesting noise.
